dream

i'm loitering around suntec now and i saw something quite amusing. While there were performers hitting drums/percussions, this little boy in red on the first floor was very high mimicking them hitting the drums :s

I hope i'm not stereotyping here, but i think, generally, there are more malays who dare to do realize their dreams, compared to chinese, generally ah :/ I feel that most chinese, or maybe it's just minority :s, don't dare to dream or don't dare to realize their dreams. It might be due to our/their fear of failure, or due to some ways in how we're brought up. For example, as targets are always set for us when we were young, we don't really have time to explore what we really want or maybe we will grow lazy and think that we don't really have to think about what we want, because there'll be people who will tell us what we should want. And as this way becomes more common, it is seen as abnormal if we do think of what we want, some will be told by their families that it's safer to walk on this path that a lot had walked on... Hmmm... Anyway, back to my point :p, about malays and chinese.. :p i don't think that's really proven. But i believe that it's true that less people dare to dream and dare to chase after their dreams now.. I'm one of them :s
