growth

... It is okay to compare.

It is okay to compare with someone who is better than you.

It is okay to feel envious.

It is okay to feel inadequate.

It is okay to feel lesser.


But if you are not okay with any of the above, take steps to change it.

Change yourself to be better in that aspect.

Take small steps, if you are daunted by the large gap between you and that person.

It is always easier said than done, but you can do it.


The question is whether you choose to do it.

Used to compare with other person. feeling unhappy and try to overdo the person. when i succeed, the satisfaction is beyond words can describe but when i fail, depression slowly crept in.

my friend ask me one question "apple and orange, which one has a greater nutrition value?" i reply "both give different nutrition value" corny as it sounds but my friend told me apple can never be able to compare with orange cause they r different.

we can envy others but instead of comparing our self with other ppl, y not compare our old self with our new self? only then, we can achieve a more comfortable pace for us to improve our self.
