Too much or too little of anything isn't good. But again, the definition of too little or too much is subjective... subjected to your own definition, not others'... Remember that you don't have to approve to be able to accept..
Do you always get pissed off at other people? If yes, and if you want to stop getting pissed off, please refer to the message below. (sent to my friend this morning... :p )
"Hmmm... I'll try to explain it again... But this would require some effort from you to understand and believe...
Ok.. If you want to stop yourself from always getting pissed off at others, please continue to read the msg.
The reason y u get pissed off at others, is mainly because you have expectations of them. You expect them to behave in a certain way, you expect them not to behave in a certain way.. You must know that there is no way for you to control how they behave.. So... Everytime when you get pissed off at others, you pause and think.. Whether it is because you have expectations.. Then you tell yourself that you cannot control them.. Then you just accept it and let go... Then go do your other stuff.. ... There is really no point in you getting pissed because it doesn't change anything.. Will not change your perception and will not change how the other person act now or in the future.."

That makes sense. However, when we get pissed, the emotion rides over the rationale being and we tend to carry out actions which we later regret. Even though we can tell ourselves the appropriate manner to treat the situation after we have cooled down, fact is, we have already done what we don't want.
Let's acknowledge that we will get pissed from time to time. Instead of focusing on the outcome, we turn to focus on our reactions first. Too much things to think about at such situations generally do not work, cos human beings love to succumb to instant gratification.
Be aware about the feeling of being pissed when doing self reflection. Recognise the feeling and train oneself to anchor to a certain *something* whenever the same feeling is triggered. This *something* is subjective and unique to individuals. But this technique seems to work well with my clients.
Lastly, do not give up. Cos one is bound to fail to succeed 100% of the time in the initial phase. Even one success should be celebrated. It is gonna take lotsa practice and conscious effort, but when it is practised so many times, somehow one day, it becomes automated/unconscious. There, you have acquired a new skill.
With metta and peace,
