Our lives can be compared to being in a game. Some of us hold the controllers to control our own games. Some of us like to "hold" the controllers of others. Some of us like to pass our own controllers to let others.
The common point over here is, we would like our objectives/expectations to be met. This is most possible if we control our own games. It is the same if we hold the controller to other people's games. But I'm sure you would not like it if someone else tries to control your game, because he wants his expectations to be met. (unless your objective is to let others have control over your life... :/ ) Lastly, when you pass your controller over another person, it would be difficult for your own objective to be met and there might be disappointments when objectives/expectations are not met..
In the game of reality, there is no save point or restart point. Everything you feel, think, do, will mean something and will make an impression in your life.. You do get to decide on how you wanna feel (good or bad) when you "make up" the reasons for everything that happen, are happening, have happened.
Your game will still carry on and it will not stop, no matter if you give up or if you decide to move on. If everything is moving, why fight against the flow?
