Get away from that shit immediately! Step away from the pile and wash away the shit on your feet/body, and move away. In cases which the mess has to be cleared, you just have to take action. As long as it can be cleared, it does not matter how slow you do it (e.g. use a tissue to slowly wipe the shit away, etc..).
The important thing is get away from the shit, not stay in it :s When you get into a bad situation, get away from it first. Then you will be calm and rational enough to think of the next step to take. (e.g how to clear the mess, how to get the shit off yourself, etc..)

I wonder whether it would be useful if we imagine every bad thing that is happening to us, as shit stuck on our body. Then we would surely try to get rid of them.
I think some or most of us are used to having some particular shit on us.... :s
